Visualhero Design is looking for a senior user interface designer. This person eats pixels, dreams about user experience and loves the details. They will work collaboratively with other designers, manage projects and client expectations and play a role in developing work and the Visualhero brand.

Visualhero Design is a design company located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our work spans from graphic design, interface design, ideation design and user experience. We work for brilliant clients from West Michigan to the Silicon Valley who appreciate what we do for them. Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in design and 2 years creating digital designs for interfaces.
• Experience leading teams.
• Experience leading projects and clients to get results for a project.
• Excellent sense of good typography and a solid foundation of usability.
• Understand how design is a vehicle for both form and function.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Interest in creating killer work.

• A superb portfolio
• Experience interviewing and brainstorming with stakeholders about projects.
• Experience creating wireframes, site maps, interactive prototypes, and visual designs for user interfaces
• Usability testing experience is a plus, but not required
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, and similar technologies
• Ideally, two years or more of interface design experience
• At least one role leading the design from start to finish.
