Visualhero Design is looking for a talented Designer to work within the realms of interface design and user experience. This designer will be supporting a Senior designer or Design Director and working collaboratively with other designers and clients on a variety of projects.

Visualhero Design is a design company located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our work spans from graphic design, interface design, ideation design and user experience. We work for brilliant clients from West Michigan to the Silicon Valley who appreciate what we do for them. We are commited to a work environment that evokes autonomy, mastery and purpose for our designers.

Things we will be looking for:

• A superb portfolio
• 1-2 years of professional experience in interface design creating digital designs for interfaces.
• An understanding on HTML/CSS is helpful to understand how designs will be implemented, but not required.
• Excellent sense of good typography and a solid foundation of layout and general design principles.
• Have a good understanding of design and how it is a vehicle for both form and function.
• Must be able to work effectively solo or with a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
